These SMS Messaging Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the receipt and use of SMS and MMS communications sent in connection with recruitment and employment opportunities at Interface (“Interface,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By providing your mobile phone number and consenting to receive SMS or MMS communications from or on behalf of Interface in connection with a job application, recruitment process, or employment opportunity, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

These Terms apply specifically to SMS and MMS communications relating to recruitment and supplement Interface’s general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Recruitment Communications

Interface may engage third-party recruitment, applicant tracking, messaging, or technology service providers (“Third-Party Providers”) to facilitate and manage communications with individuals who apply for, express interest in, or are contacted regarding job opportunities with Interface.

Candidates may be contacted through SMS, MMS, email, or other electronic communications regarding their recruitment or application process. Such communications may include, but are not limited to:

• Confirmation or acknowledgment of a job application or inquiry;
• Requests for additional information or documentation;
• Interview scheduling and reminders;
• Updates regarding the status of an application or recruitment process;
• Requests to complete forms, assessments, or other recruitment-related activities;
• Notifications regarding next steps in the recruitment process;
• Communications regarding available or relevant job opportunities; and
• Other recruitment-related communications reasonably necessary to facilitate the hiring process.

Each recruitment request, application, or candidate interaction may be registered and managed through a third-party platform. Based on the applicable recruitment process, the request or candidate information may then be processed and advanced to the next stage through the relevant Third-Party Provider.

2. Third-Party Recruitment and Messaging Providers

Interface may use Third-Party Providers to facilitate recruitment communications, candidate management, applicant tracking, SMS/MMS messaging, email communications, scheduling, assessments, and other activities associated with the recruitment process.

By providing your information and participating in the recruitment process, you acknowledge and agree that your candidate information, including contact information and information relating to your application or recruitment status, may be collected, processed, stored, transmitted, or otherwise handled by such Third-Party Providers for purposes of facilitating and managing the recruitment process.

Third-Party Providers are responsible for handling candidate information in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, including applicable privacy, data protection, employment, and communications laws. Interface expects such Third-Party Providers to maintain appropriate safeguards and comply with their applicable legal and contractual obligations when processing candidate information on behalf of Interface.

Your use of or interaction with a Third-Party Provider’s platform or services may also be subject to that provider’s applicable terms, conditions, privacy policies, and other requirements. Where applicable, you should review the terms and privacy policies provided by the relevant Third-Party Provider.

Interface does not control the operation, availability, or performance of third-party platforms, telecommunications networks, or messaging services and is not responsible for failures, interruptions, delays, or errors attributable to such Third-Party Providers or networks.

3. Consent to SMS Communications

Where SMS or MMS communications are used as part of the recruitment process, you may be asked to provide your mobile phone number and consent to receive recruitment-related messages.

By providing your mobile number and opting in to receive SMS or MMS communications, you represent that:

• You are the authorized user of the mobile number provided;
• The mobile number provided is accurate and current;
• You consent to receive recruitment-related SMS or MMS communications from or on behalf of Interface; and
• You understand that consent to receive SMS or MMS communications is not a condition of applying for or obtaining employment with Interface.

Your consent applies only to communications reasonably related to the recruitment process and does not constitute consent to receive unrelated marketing communications.

4. Message Charges

Message and data rates may apply.

Your mobile carrier may charge you for sending or receiving SMS or MMS messages. Charges depend on your individual wireless plan and carrier. Interface is not responsible for any messaging or data charges imposed by your mobile service provider.

5. Message Frequency

Message frequency will vary depending on your participation in the recruitment process, the status of your application, interview scheduling, requests for information, and other recruitment-related activities.

You may receive recurring or non-recurring messages as reasonably necessary to facilitate and communicate with you regarding the recruitment process.

6. Supported Mobile Carriers and Delivery

SMS/MMS communications may be delivered through third-party messaging providers and telecommunications networks. Message delivery depends on your mobile carrier, wireless coverage, device compatibility, network availability, and other factors outside Interface’s control.

Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages. Interface does not guarantee that every message will be delivered or delivered within a particular timeframe.

7. Opt-Out Instructions

You may opt out of receiving recruitment-related SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive. After replying STOP, you will receive a confirmation message confirming your opt-out request. Once confirmed, you will no longer receive SMS messages through that messaging channel unless you opt in again.

Please note that opting out of SMS communications may affect our ability to communicate with you through SMS regarding your recruitment process. You may continue to receive communications through other channels, such as email, where appropriate or necessary.

8. HELP Instructions

For assistance, reply HELP to any SMS message received from Interface or on behalf of Interface.

9. Candidate Information and Privacy

Candidate information collected or processed in connection with recruitment communications may include your name, contact information, application information, recruitment status, interview information, and other information you provide during the recruitment process. Such information may be processed through Interface’s systems and/or Third-Party Providers involved in the recruitment process.

Please review Interface’s Privacy Policy for information regarding how Interface collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information.

Where applicable, Third-Party Providers may also have their own privacy policies governing their processing of candidate information.

10. Candidate Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and current contact information;
• Ensure that the mobile number provided belongs to you or that you are authorized to use it;
• Promptly notify Interface or the applicable recruitment provider if your contact information changes;
• Follow reasonable instructions provided during the recruitment process; and
• Use SMS and other recruitment communication channels in compliance with applicable laws.

11. Recruitment Process

Interface may modify, suspend, discontinue, or change any part of its recruitment process, including the use of SMS, MMS, email, third-party recruitment platforms, applicant tracking systems, or other communication methods, at any time.

Participation in the recruitment process does not guarantee an interview, offer of employment, or employment with Interface.

12. Third-Party Services

Certain recruitment-related communications and activities may require you to access or interact with third-party websites, platforms, applications, or services.

Interface is not responsible for the availability, security, content, functionality, or performance of third-party services. Your use of such services may be subject to additional terms and privacy policies established by the applicable Third-Party Provider.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our recruitment processes, messaging practices, technology, legal requirements, or other operational considerations.

Any revised Terms will become effective when posted on this page, unless otherwise stated.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Interface shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to SMS or MMS communications, including any loss resulting from delayed, failed, interrupted, or undelivered messages caused by third-party providers, telecommunications networks, or other circumstances outside Interface’s reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws governing the applicable agreements between you and Interface, without regard to conflict of law principles.
